LGBT@Work is an annual conference that aims to promote the free exchange of ideas and provide a unique networking platform for LGBT+ students, LGBT+ professionals and our allies. Now in its 13th year LGBT@Work is hosted by the IE Out and Allies Club, IE University's student-led LGBT+ organization. We bring together an inclusive and education-oriented learning environment.
Inclusive leaders are those who are aware of their own biases and preferences, actively seek out and consider different views and perspectives to inform better decision-making. They see diverse talent as a source of competitive advantage and inspire diverse people to drive organisational and individual performance towards a shared vision. Inspired by this vision, we have decided to make the 2019 theme "Inclusive Leadership". We hope to set the stage for speakers to tell their stories of inclusiveness in a way that motivates attendees to become advocates for change.
